The compressed liquid of the village and town garbage compression transfer station mainly comes from the internal water content of the garbage itself and the water produced by the decomposition.
The Main Pollution Components of Landfill Leachate Are: Organic Matter, Ammonia Nitrogen and Heavy Metals.
At present, 22 kinds of landfill leachate have been identified in China and The Organic Pollutants from The Environmental Priority Control Blacklisted Of USA Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
(2) CODcr and BOD5 Can Reach Higher Than 80000mg/L and 35000mg/L Respectively .
(3) Over 10 kinds of High Metal Ions Leachate Contained.
(4) High Ammonia Nitrogen Content and High Salt Content.

Current Leachate Disposal Status
(1) The Leachate Collection Tank on garbage compression station and will be transported to special garbage leachate disposal station or the landfill leachate treatment station by special vehicles for centralized processing.
(2) Being Pending-Treated Compressed Liquid in the garbage compression transfer station collects with the washing waste water from the garbage truck and the domestic sewage from the compression station, then the three steam waste water will be merged into the municipal sewage pipeline.
(3) Directly discharged into nearby river water bodies without treatment.

Waste Water Volume
As per survey data, the amount of landfill leachate at the transfer station is about 10% of the volume of waste transferred. In addition, there is production wastewater and domestic wastewater in the garbage transfer station produced by cleaning vehicle equipment.

Waste Water Inlet Water Quality
According to section 2.6 of the Technical Regulations for the Operation and Maintenance of Domestic Waste Transfer Stations (CJJ 109-2006), "The sewage treatment method of transfer stations shall be determined according to the specific conditions of each transfer station, and may be discharged into the city after pretreatment according to national and local standards The sewage pipe network can also be treated separately to meet the discharge standards. "At the same time, the determination of discharge standards needs to be determined according to the specific requirements of the environmental impact assessment.
According to the actual situation of the villages and towns, the investment and freight costs for separate treatment of up to standard discharge are high. The transfer station wastewater treatment discharge standard is considered to meet the "Comprehensive Pollutant Discharge Standard" (GB8978-1996) level 3 discharge standard and then discharged into the municipal sewage pipe network. In areas where there is no municipal sewage pipeline network, follow-up advanced treatment systems are added.
