LIFC Iron Carbon Micro Electrolytic Filler is used in a new micro-electrolysis treatment system. The long-chain macromolecular organic compounds undergo ring-opening and chain-breaking, cracking toxic functional groups on toxic and harmful organic pollutants, and improving the biodegradability of industrial wastewater. The filler completely avoids the problems of passivation, clogging, and hardening during the use of traditional micro-electrolytic materials, and satisfies long-term stable and efficient operation.
Without external power supply, LIFC series micro-electrolysis materials can produce 1.2 volt potential difference to carry out electrochemical treatment of wastewater. When the system is filled with water, countless micro-electrolysis cells are formed in the equipment, which produces redox reactions and achieves the purpose of degrading organic pollution.
During the treatment of wastewater, iron in the LIFC filler releases electrons, which has the function of oxidation-reduction, and iron is converted into new ecological Fe2+.
